Frequently Asked Questions:

What does the price include?
  • Your photo printed, from a digital file you send or we will scan a color print you provide. We will color correct your picture to our specifications at no additional cost to you
  • Your company logo from art sent to us as a digital file
  • The wording of your business card -  name, phone number, address, etc., from information that you supply us with and in a typeface, as close as we can, that you desire
  • Your business card will be typeset in colors you specify, again, as close as we can make them
  • We will send you a faxed or electronic proof of your business card and one additional proof of minor changes that you request
  • We will charge you for:
    • Second proofs that we categorize as “experimentation”. Second proofs are at no charge, but only if they require just minor changes. We will go as far overboard for you as we can to make second changes and please you. If you request redesign changes, possibly you can’t decide what you really want, or if you are trying to design your card, we will charge you on a time basis. Sometimes this is necessary to get what you want! Once you have the look you want, then when you do reprints you will not have this expense. You may be much happier this way!!! Our re-design charges are really a bargain compared to using a design firm or agency!!

    • Taking away the background from your photo (when possible) that you supply us. Taking the background from a photo can be an art in itself to accomplish, but can make your photo look much better when printed on your business card.

    • If you request your artwork for your own use, we will charge you the standard rate for composition rate plus any additional charge items you request.

    • Try using our $5.00 ACTUAL PROOF. Yes, one actual card sample is printed and mailed to you via first class mail.
Will you return my photo?
Yes. We send your photo back after your order is completed. We make a great effort to return them to you in the same condition that you sent them to us, but, please understand that sometimes damage or loss in shipping does occur. We regret if this happens, but it is beyond our control. And, although this is very rare we can't guarantee their return. We will not be held responsible for lost, damaged or mishandled photo returns.
Can I send a computer file?
Yes you may. We can accept your file via E-mail at: ehpmail@roadrunner.com or on a disk. You may send files in jpeg, tiff, eps or pdf formats.

Do you keep my layout on file?
Yes. However, sometimes computer files become corrupted, which is rare, but if it happens, we will need your photo, artwork or computer file again before printing.

How long does it take to print my order?
The usual time for production is approximately ten working days plus shipping. (Reordering cards or accessories is usually faster depending on the degree of changes you make to your previous order.) We ship standard UPS ground, which takes 2-7 business days depending on where you are in the United States. Please allow extra time for shipping during the holidays, bad weather or outside the continental U.S. (2-day and Next-Day shipping are available.) Every effort is made to get your order printed and delivered on time!

How do I pay for my order?
You should send your payment in with your order either by fax or by mail.  We DO NOT send invoices.  For your convenience, we accept, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover card, Personal & Company checks.

My photo has the copyright symbol “©” on it, can you use it?
Yes, with written permission (called a “copyright release”) from the copyright holder.  Ask the copyright holder to write you a letter.  Have them include •Your name •Their name •The reason for the release (to be printed on business cards) and •The maximum quantity allowed to be reproduced.  Send it to us with your photo.

What if I need to cancel my order, can I get my money back?
Once we receive an order it is put into production.  By the time you receive your first proof, we have done more than HALF of the work on the order.  For this reason, we do not give full refunds for cancellations.
